haven't blogged in some time..
hai, its the lazybug!
met up with the vj strings people last night.
i missed them!
had dinner together at secret recipe, then headed down to esplanade for a free performance.
wasn't too impressed with the band initially..
then, they did this song falling slowly from the movie once and we all were like "WHOA!!!"
very impressed with that performance :):):)
so we found out that they played at mount faber, jewelbox!
definitely gonna check them out again!

later headed down to harry's bar at c.h.i.j.m.e.s
all for bread and butter pudding.
drinks weren't that great.
crowd was mostly older expatriates.
chinese waitresses who struggled with english.

met up with uncle v. and anu for indian lunch on sat!!
WHOOTS!! indian food rocks my life and ruins my bowels -
the coconut just slays me, eeerm u know..
later headed for the christian lacroix and verner panton exhibits with beautiful miss anu.
sadly.. my stupid camera died halfway :(
seriously.. i love my cam. it lasted me the whole sem without having to charge it and then.. dies at the lacroix exhibit - timely.
anyways, it was a real treat.
it was so funny to just speak our minds (hehehe - my hidden gangster mind) while those uppitiy retard art farts acted all fake.
call me childish - whatever.
haha.. it was a hoot x)

cycled from ECP to changi yesterday with reg and nat.
was prettty good fun excaept that the sun was crazy hot and left me a terrible sunburn.
yup - i look ridiculous now x)
was good hanging out with those two though..
loved the lunch we had at the bistro in changi :)

shakespeare in the park
watched much ado about nothing by shakespeare last night at fort canning.
it was a great performance -
better than any of the theatre productions i've watched in minneapolis.
the cast did a wonderful job even in the terrible heat.
enjoyed meself throughly - esp the picnic :)
been stuffing happily the past few days.
yes, the waistband is expanding once again x/
i'd better start running even if the weather threatens heatstroke.
hung out with anu @ nude restaurant on fri and of course stuffed myself silly -
fish & chips + budweiser + friend bananas + ice cream
sigh..
saturday too..
i am amazed at my own capacity to gorge -
fried carrot cake + hokkien mee + chicken cutlet
TAF club awaits me..

whoohoo!! relaxing at a cafe in HK airport now!!
after travelling for SOO LONG - i'm so excited to be only a few hours away from home!
stopped in phoenix arizona on the way to san francisco.
a bloody waste of time but it was kinda worth it since i got 10-15 minutes worth of flying over beautiful beautiful mountains!
i think it's probably more worth it to fly thru phoenix and view the mountains spreading out from the sky than stopping there for a holiday.
many of the public in HK airport are donning masks - the N95 powderful kind not the flimsy type.
making me kinda nervous about the H5N1 thingie and they only had ONE case.
in the states, they have more cases but theres minimal fuss and precautions.
feeling stinkie right now.
28 hours of travelling alr...
but still, so excited :D

just got back from church.
really sleepy.
some things struck me while i was at church.
i really gotta fix myself and my life.
my attitude sucks and my life ain't that great honestly.
endurance and discipline i lack.
all i am now is some tigress :(
ahh well.. tolerance is hard.
last night kinda sucked.
we got lost in our attempt to try out palamino.
ended up in bulldog n.e.
food was good - on the bright side
but really, the bus home took ages to come and we were really getting jittery.
saw a few interesting sights though:
1. this couple was patrolling down the streets dressed in wedding outfits + slippers and sneakers. and they stopped traffic - no kidding. they boldly crossed the road when traffic was moving and all the drivers just stopped in the middle of the road and gawked.
2. while we were figeting at the bus-stop, this cab stopped right in front of us while we stared. this dude getting out got so self conscious from us three beauties staring that he looked at his feet and slammed the door - right into his girlfriend's face. omg, they were sooo embarrassed while we laughed away at them. his girl was cool though, she just laughed it off. cool chick :) stupid dick.

thank goodness out physiology proj is over.
what a fiasco re-doing the whole damn thing.
after nights of re-watching delightful girl chun hyang with xy and grannie i've been craving ramen.
so.. went to satisfy my craving tonight with xy after physio lab.
had a great big bowl of ramen + seafood pancake.
wished the ramen were spicier to blow my brains out.
sick of school.
so much on my plate now.
exam on fri, prep for theatre final, anat grand rounds and o chem exam all coming up.
i need to go home :(
so tired.. wish i would stop being awakened so early in the morning.
if only people would be more considerate.
